Update

Well hi blog world. :) I apparently stink at keeping up with this thing now - but hey, I've had it for over a year! Sort of proud of myself. Haha.

What has happened since graduation....well. I had an interview at Grady on May 17 and I find out NEXT WEEK if they accepted me or not! I have high hopes. :) Plus, Molly said she felt good about her interview and got in and I feel the same! :) Fingers crossed! I would love to have a plan. Haha.

As far as the wedding, we met with our potential photographer, Ashleigh Dees Photography, on Sunday. It went REALLY well! Her pictures are pretty amazing and she seems to "get" and be excited for our vision of our wedding day. :) I personally also love how non-traditional we are. It's nice to be able to incorporate "us" into a day that is supposed to be ours. Sometimes (okay, 70% of the time) I feel like the whole reception is about everyone BUT us. Ya know? Oh well.

Moving along...we also found a perfect place for bridesmaid dresses!! This is after we went dress shopping at David's which was not a great experience. We found an Alfred Angelo carrier and it's local!! Whoo hoo! Hannah found one she realllllllly likes and it's totally hot! Now to get Jackie and Elea up here to find their perfect dresses! Exciting. Loved the color too.

And I know I've left a lot of stuff out, but my birthday is in 8 days!!!! WHOOOO!!!

GRADUATION!!!

So yesterday, May 7, 2011, I officially graduated from the University of West Georgia. It's been a long time coming, but I am now a college graduate! I have about a million pictures to post. Lol. On Thursday, Elea and I bedazzled our graduation caps - those things took FOREVER! See our facial expressions? Hahah. The spacing on Blogger is being RIDICULOUS which is why the picture is Sooooo far down whenever I post it. I tried, blog readers, I tried. I then gave up. Lol.

But alas, here is graduation! Walking across the stage and in the crowd. I can see me. Can you? :)

Avec ma familia!

Ava's Birthday! & Easter

Oh lord. My littlest sister, Miss Ava, turned 7 this year! This is insane to me. She was the tiniest, cutest, little sister when we first adopted her and now she is the cutest, smartest, prettiest not-so-tiny little sister. :) I can not believe she is 7! That is so close to 10. Lord, help us.

She had a TON of friends over (I think 17 was the final count!) and Will and I helped out with her party a lot. They had the bouncy, pinata, dressup, playing outside, cake. Of course some pink lemonade. :) Or, as Zach called it, "that good pink water." Haha. I wish we had gotten a picture of all four of us that day, but we didn't. Way too busy! Still can't believe she is so grown up!!

The next morning was Easter Sunday. My Mom has the pictures of all of us, so I'll try and add one later. This is one of Seth and I before we went to church. I love my church. :)

Out for the Night

Now THESE pictures happened after my BFF Hannah got a job!!!! She decided to be awesome and take Seth and I out to dinner to sort of 'pay back' us taking her out when she didn't have one of those job thingys. Lol. It was great fun. Carrabba's. Yummmm. I'm not sure why I thought this should have it's own post - I guess because there are pictures! hahah. That's really it. Just something we did one weekend. YAY COLLEGE. :)

Venue Shopping

Why hello blog. :) It's only been about a million days since I updated my blog even though I have been wanting to. This month has been INSANE. So much has happened. For that reason, I'm going to make a few separate updates so it's not too terribly insane. I'll go back to the middle of April. Seth and I went venue shopping - and I took some pictures to document. We went to a few different places in the Stone Mountain/Atlanta area.

While these places were gorgeous - they just didn't fit our vision and one didn't fit our budget. We went to two different places this day, three on another day, and alas - our last and final one by itself. And we chose the last one! We were so excited to pick a venue and then we set a date days later -- we will be getting married on March 3, 2012!! :)

I would post pictures of our actual venue on here, but unfortunately there is a person that tends to like to copy things about my life (ha!) so there will be no pictures, or at least pictures that would help someone be able to figure out where it is, until AFTER the wedding in less than 10 months! It's pretty perfect though. Hardwood floors, giant fireplaces, exposed beams, chandeliers, and the price is right! SO EXCITED!
